How to Prosper God’s Way
It has always been God's will for His people to prosper. Prosperity is not just limited to money, but to all things pertaining to life. The word says in Deuteronomy 28:11 (NIV) that He will grant you abundant prosperity. The Amplified says, "the Lord shall make you have a surplus of prosperity." However, in Deuteronomy 28:1, we are given the prerequisite, "If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow His commands." The next several verses describe what happens when we do this, and also what happens if we don't. In John 10:10 (KJV) Jesus tells us that it is the devil who comes to steal, kill and destroy (everything bad), "but I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly" (everything good).
God intends for us to have the best of everything. But first we must receive Jesus as Lord of our lives. Secondly, we must stand for what is rightfully ours based on the covenant He has made with us. We need to read God's instruction (His word is His will) and obey the Lord in every area of our lives, including tithing and offerings. Then we must stand on the promises He has given us regarding prosperity until we see it manifested in our lives. Below we have included some of the scriptures on prosperity. There are many others that you can find by studying the subject on your own. As you read them, say them, and do them, they will come alive in your life. And God will prove His word for you and bless you. Isaiah 61:9 b (AMP) says, "All who see them [in their prosperity] will recognize and acknowledge that they are the people whom the Lord has blessed.
